The Sunset World
All was quiet as the sun went down
And shadows began to crawl
My eyes went wide at the rugged town
Sunsets light cast upon the wall
All the world was orange and yellow
But mine was a wonder
Spilling out like a chatty fellow
Before it went asunder
The ocean beyond looked like a puddle of light
The sun dipping into it
I beheld this beautiful sight
Sighing almost to a fit
The sun now gone I went back home
To rest my weary eyes
They'd seen a lot likely this roam
To make easy goodbyes
