This is Crazy

To: The Readers
From: Ariella Corden

Here I am and then I'm there
In another time
Where am I, could be anywhere
For a time the life is mine

I'm a Princess, a Queen, a Servant Girl
or am I none of these
It all goes so fast my minds a whirl
Could someone explain this please

It's all so very ridiculous and strange
I can't seem to figure it out
I set my sights on all clues in range
I musn't pout
Maybe soon this will all make sence
Though chances are very slim
And who knows the consequence
My heart is teetering on the rim.
The Tiny in Tears and the Tall in Terror Part 2

I turned back to the window for what was really only seconds but at once I felt the change again I bit my lip praying this was homeward but when the purple rainbow liquid subsided I was in another castle. I could have screamed I was so angry I was still staring out the turret window....okay more like glaring out the window my grip tightened on whatever it was I was holding. I whirled around and stared at the younger girl who in turn was staring at me.
"I want to go home!" I declared loudly.
The girl stepped back and stammered, "I....Your Highness...you can't...Pr-Prince Phillip will be here soon."
I frowned at her.
"I don't care! I don't want to see him, I want to go home"
The girl began to twist the sleeve of her gown like she was wringing out a wash cloth. "But-but your majesty thy parents will be sore mad." I rolled my eyes they weren't actually my parents besides the thought of meeting this Philip gave me shivers and I had no idea why.
"Then we shan't go home we'll go somewhere else where I can find my real home!"
The girl began to cry.
"I dist know you didn't agree to this and that thy parents forced thee to go but I never would have guessed thee to rebel."  I laughed but it was a sad laugh because I'd had enough and wanted to go back home Time Travel was ridiculous. When I said the tiny in tears you may have guessed the tiny was my little maid and when I said the tall in terror I should have said the tall was a terror I regret most of my snapping now but truly things were not going my way that day. anyways back to the story.
The girl began dabbing her face where the tears had left stains and I closed my eyes and imagined myself home in bed, thankfully when I opened them again it was so. I fell face forward into my pillows for some reason I was terribly tired but I didn't want to go to sleep...after all Sleep is another form of Time Travel. Suddenly something hard appeared at my fingertips I glanced over, it was.... a book? It looked old I opened it up to the first page and written in the fanciest cursive I'd ever seen was this:

To my ancestor Ariella.
To Remember that "Dreams are not Dreams and Reality isn't Real" also "Everything a Time Traver See's That is What She Be" keep on trying my dear soon you may understand.
Yours Truly
Marisiella

What could this new clue be...I could only wait and try to figure it out who knows maybe one of these was the secret to controling it. I flipped through the pages a little more and gasped when I saw a story that was all to famillar
The Princess and Prince Phillip (a true story only I'd call it The Princess and the Crying Maid
Princess Ava Constantine (Ariella)
all ( ) by Marisiella

Sincerely

Thanks for Reading

In Which I Become a Princess!

An Introduction To the Ariella Corden Series
(I should have posted this on the first post please accept  my apologies)

I beg you please to listen now
As I share with you a story
Of Adventure, Intrigue, and Renown
Shining in its glory

No actually I leave you to deicide
For I have yet to know
My own opinion of this tale
Of which is there still much to sew

Our Heroine is much puzzled
As to how she travels through time
She has only a 1 clue
To help her keep her mind

Now let us begin and lay forth the structure
For the plot to build upon
And you can share your thoughts in comments
Write now you say why I’m already gone.

The Tiny in Tears and the Tall in Terror Part 1

Okay so I know that’s not that best version of younger and older but it’s the best I had to work with. So yesterday I had another crazy adventure in old England that nearly scared me out of my wits it went thus so.

It started normally as every day had except this time I confined myself to my room to ponder everything that had happened and also to try and decode the mysterious hint Marisiella had given me, but mainly to avoid time traveling again she was so very strange and I seriously doubt she was actually even from the 1600’s. Soon I tired of it and opened my journal to maybe read some old entries but yeah I think it may actually have something to do with the time travel because instantly I was plunged into the RLL (For now on that’s what I’m calling the Rainbow Liquid Light) I would’ve stomped my foot it there had been any form of solid ground beneath me but alas there was not “alas?” I seriously think that this time travel it taking hold on me oh, dear. I closed my eyes before the chill descended and then I was there I rushed over to a turrent window and looked out. I saw miles and miles of stone paved road and beyond that mountains there were tons of shabby looking buildings as well as lovely beautiful ones. At that same moment a woman walking into the room and quietly closed it behind her.

“How is her highness this lovely morning?” asked a pretty little maid.

“Just fine um…”

“Mildred Mistress. Do you not remember me?” I shook my head.

“No it’s just I suppose I’m still a little groggy”

“That’s understandable your highness you had a very long night.” I gave her a grateful look and turned back to the window.

“Elisabeth love, is everything all right?” I turned again and saw not the maid but a beautiful older woman before me.”

“Oh, yes. Where did Mildred go?”

“Mildred darling, who is Mildred I’ve been here these past few hours, but I saw you seemed to droop a second and then you turned to the window?”

“I um…what?”

“Really love you oughtn’t to say um so much it’s very unbecoming for one of your birth”

“My birth?” The lady looked at me in wonderment aghast and said..

“You’re princess of England dear.”

“Oh, yes, sorry I’m just tired I guess.”

The next time I sign in you’ll understand the reason for the title but…for now be content with this. Until next time.

Note: This Elisabeth has no relation to any of the actual Princess Elizabeth’s or any other Princesses of England.

I Didn't Die I Just Lost my Jounnal

To: The Readers
From: Ariella Corden...The Time Traveler

December 3'rd 2012
Dreams aren't Dreams and Reality isn't Real

Okay so I didn't die I just lost my journal and don't ask where I think I just left it at home last time I time traveled and my mind is always so muddled after I time travel I often forget things. I think I'll tell you about Marisiella ttoday maybe you can figure her out.

It was Sunday I was at the mall with my mom, Rosy was home with dad watching football. We were going into this really neat clothing store where they sold old style clothing to collectors all the stuff was really expensive but we enjoyed looking at it anyways they even let me try on some of the dresses that was when it happened...
I closed my eyes and felt wind rushing up around me, my skirts lapped against my ankles I opened my eyes again before the wind had died down and saw  rainbow colors of almost liquid light all around but soon it faded  replaced by darkness and a chilling breeze then it was over and I was standing in a large room with a huge bed and crystal chandelier. The house was very castle like and it was only when I looked out the window that I realized it was a castle I glanced down at my apparel and was surprised to see it hadn't changed it was the same fancy princess-like dress I'd been wearing in the store I looked at the wall and saw an English flag. So my time travel wasn't restricted to just America.  I was in England and as princess or something else royal, a lady in waiting perhaps? I stared down at my jeweled slippers as someone materialized beside me

"Oh so I did it again did I? Well that's something I must say!" She was a tall woman in a soft purple dress she had dark brown hair and sea blue eyes, she was quite stunning.
"Oh, my dear you look like you've seen a ghost."

"Um..I um you just appeared."

"What you saw that...hmm you're a time traveler as well I presume?"

"I...uh yes I suppose I am."

"Tell me dear have you figured out how it works yet?"

"N...no."

"Oh, well neither have I, but let me tell you now, Dreams are not Dreams and Reality isn't Real think about it someday you may understand what it means.  I'm Marsiella 1600 you?" her eyes bore into mine.

"Ariella Corden 2012."

"Lovely we're related then."

"Oh, we are."

"Yes, yes." She glanced down out the window a moment and then picked up her skirts and peeked out the door "Good no ones near. I must be going now but I hope I'll see you again!" And just like that she was gone and I was terribly confused. The next thing I new I was in the car with mother sleeping against the window.

And that's all for now if you have any idea's on what she's about please share I'd love to hear them.
Sincerely
Ariella Corden

In which my name is Elisabeth?

To: The Readers
From: Ariella Corden
How is or was your thanksgiving mine was....well mine was strange, weird and actually didn't take place in 2012. Anyways here is how I spent my Thanksgiving.

  1621
       Time Travel and Turkey

Morning 8:00 AM
It happened again I woke up this morning when someone started calling out a name in my ear “Elisabeth, Elisabeth wake up dear” I opened my eyes instinctively though I never usually do especially when someone else’s name is called
“Huh? Mom?” I sat up, the woman looked down at me and frowned.

“Elisabeth aren’t you awake yet? The men folk will be back from hunting soon and we’ll have to start cooking.”

“Cooking” I said questionably.

“Yes cooking. Elisabeth please collect yourself, there’s much to do.”

I sat up suddenly, startling her.

“What year is it!”

“Elisabeth are you feeling all right?”

“Yes of course but what year is it”

“1621 now get up we have pies to back and turkeys to pluck before the Indians arrive”
She laid out a bright red dress and yellow apron on a chair near me and motioned for me to put them on, and then she left.

I jumped up and threw the clothes on. They fit perfectly?

“1621? Did I just… Travel through time?”

Afternoon 12:45 PM
We cooked and cooked all morning. I thank mom for teaching me how to pluck a turkey and bake pies it would have been absolutely humiliating to burn a pie on this day the… the thanksgiving with the Native Americans.

I barely even have time to write, as I speak Laurabelle is calling me to help her (Laurabelle is supposedly my older sister.)

it’s warm today the sun shines through the window where the pies are cooling it’s nice, but imagine what it would be like to be out here when they had the fever or when it’s terribly cold… I’m sorry Laurabelle is loosing her head screaming for me I should go.

Evening 7:50 PM 2012
It’s not fair all the Pilgrims, Indians, Laurabelle and my fake family got to go to the feast but me?… I return to my own time where we’re just returning from Grandpa and Grandma’s already finished the who meal so I just slaved all day and missed Thanksgiving meal in both times! Not only that, but my family seems to have no recollection that I wasn’t there. Mom says I ate twice as much as anyone so why should I be hungry? Why should I be hungry? She asks well I did just cook all day with only a bowl of oatmeal to sustain me so why shouldn’t I be?

Well Thanksgiving is ending now I suppose I’m thankful to be home.

Sincerely
Ariella Corden
Here's a picture I found in a magazine in an article about The Pilgrims and Thanksgiving in my time travel I was surprised to see that the clothing wasn't black and white as I was led to believe, but quite colorful.

Thank you for reading :)

                                                   Strange, Curious, and Confusing Events

Wednesday Afternoon 1:20 PM
I woke up at 7:00 precisely and ate breakfast. Pencil and paper at my side as you’d probably guessed if you noticed how much I like to write in the last entry.
Afterwards I started my school, and yet later when I was done I washed my hair.

We had Corn Chowder for lunch a particular favorite of mine but not so much of Rosy’s who mostly picked at it (she doesn’t like corn and I haven’t the faintest idea why.) I went outside for an afternoon walk, with journal held tightly under my arm. Suddenly I had a strange feeling, the wind picked up, the weather grew colder, sun disappeared, and… something else really weird happened.

Later (I don’t know the time or the year even. Explanation to follow)
Sorry I dropped journal and in all the crowds I couldn’t find it for awhile.

I’m completely disoriented right now my brown hair suddenly turned a pale blond and I’m wearing a plain green dress with a heavy hoopskirt and white apron, my shoes are black and pinch painfully. I don’t know what happened at all but I feel all wrong and I find myself looking over my shoulder every moment expecting something ultra strange to happen to prove to me that this is all just a dream, but it’s not. This is all too real! Sorry I have to go people are eyeing me strangely and I think I’m going to find somewhere quiet were I can sort out my thoughts.

Wednesday Evening 7:40 PM
Well I…I don’t really know what happened earlier but I’m home now and I don’t really want to think about it but I know I should so here I am. I found a small wooden bench close to the edge of town where it wasn’t so crowded and sat down staring at my lap the next thing I knew I was tramping around the whole town like I was born there, but when I reached a house I came to myself again closing my eyes in an effort the block everything out and then I had that weird feeling again and when I opened my eyes I was home. Strange I just can’t figure it out it makes my head hurt I think I shall lay down a bit. More tomorrow I think.

Sincerely
Ariella Corden

Written Sundays

Hello My Lovely Readers, and welcome to the first post of Written Sundays. I was going to post The Article today but since Storyteller is away I thought I'd wait. So we'll begin with...

                                                                          November 18, 2012
                                                                                  The Wreck

 Sunday Morning 8:30 AM

I woke up at 6: 30 and washed my hair a pretty ordinary beginning to what I suspected to be a normal Sunday but I was soon to realize it would be anything but normal or at least that’s what I would say if my life was a book. I ate breakfast and reached for my note pad and pencil and began jotting words down
“Hey Ari” “Hey dad” I whispered absently “how are you this morning” “good” he sighed “that’s good” I looked up “something bothering you dad?” “No not really just tired I suppose” I smiled went over to the counter and grabbed a mug filling it to the brim with steaming hot coffee “Here maybe this’ll wake you up” he took the mug gratefully
“Awi, Awi!” I turned my head to see my little sister Rosy running up to me glowing as bright as a candle “Hey there little sis” “Awi” she giggled “My, my why haven’t you put on your Sunday clothes yet?”
“Mommy said to ask you to” she jumped up into my lap looking into my eyes expectantly
“Well then what did you want to wear princess?” she grabbed my hand and led me to her room. Now I… Oh, no we’re late!

Sunday Afternoon 2:15 PM

Well I’m back again Church was good as always and Rosy sat on my lap the whole time listening intently. Afterwards she gave a summary of the sermon in her own little girl way she gave very good summaries for her age too. We went to McDonalds for Lunch and later dad said we’d never do it again
“All that fake meat’ll rot your innards” he stated seriously
“No daddy I like it.” Rosy was bouncing around in her seat. “Wanna see my Toy Awi?” She thrust a Dora doll on a plastic platform into my hands “She’s lovely” I handed the toy back. When we got home I snagged the lap top and started typing out on my story “Adventures of a Bookworm” but suddenly there was a screech followed by a loud bang from outside our apartment window I rushed over and looked out “Dad!” I screamed. “There’s been a wreck out there!” Dad ran out of the apartment and told me to stay inside. And now here I am I just had to write this all out I’m really worried about the person out there.

Sunday Evening 8:45 PM
The person out there in the wreck was Mrs. Winston thankfully she wasn’t hurt to bad and the man in the other car (I think his name was Carl Ernest) was okay too. Apparently Mr. Ernest had been checking his texts and didn’t see the red light and passing it he looked up and noticed Mrs. Winstons car a little to late and swerved to avoid hitting her clipping the left fender he’s paying to have it fixed. I need to get off now and get to bed thanks for reading :)

Sincerely
Ariella Corden
