Sometimes I Wonder

Sometimes I Wonder
{true story}

Sometimes I wonder,
Where it all goes,
When sense has left me,
And embarrassment grows.

Sometimes I wonder,
Why I can't get it right,
On the very first try,
On the very same night.

Sometimes I wonder,
When I'll start getting it good,
To say the right things,
When I care that I should.

Sometimes I wonder,
Why the things that I say,
Never come out right,
And are taken the wrong way.

Then I remember,
That things don't always go well,
That I'm not perfect,
And can't always tell,
What the right thing is,
When I'm doing it wrong,
That's when I seek God,
With his guidance I'm strong.

Here's a few more pictures.

When his father announced he was going abroad for a year and didn't wish to be called back before under any circumstances except death he decided he'd take a little vacation of his own incognito to the far away village of Bernshire to try and find his childhood friend Ellen but, but finding her isn't as easy as he'd thought, after running into countless problems and troubles will he find her?"

It would have been longer but.....I have to go out and mow before it gets to hot, 91  degree's seriously that's warmer than it's been all Summer...

Posting Procrastination and Poetry

Yes I have been a littler post procrastinator haven't I and I know I still owe several promised stories, awards, contest results, and whatnot right...well I'm not actually going to be posting any of the things I just listed, my apologies but I must ask you once again to be patient I know what your thinking, "She keeps telling us this is she ever going to do what she says?"
Yes my friends I am just not those things I listed I believe a short while ago I promised I'd post a poem by the request of Sarah Rudolph and I shall now proceed to write it so yes I'm doing something I said (though artwork to match the poem is lacking)

Tonight it's here,
Tomorrow gone
Played and over,
Like a song.

It's almost forgotten,
But it lingers still,
Bit's and pieces,
To find and to fill.

Could you collect them all,
And come forth with the whole,
The Dream you had,
Before it's become null?

Elegant Blogger Award

When you receive the award, link back to and the blog that nominated you
(Which is the lovely Christina L)

1. What made you decide to start blogging?
Because God had given me a love and a talent for poetry and I wanted to share it with many people so that by doing so I could proclaim in words my love for him and also to express my interest.
(As you can see now I don't do as much poetry and I feel bad about it but I simply have not been inspired lately)

2. What is your fashion style?
For Summer I mostly wear shorts and tank tops with cute designs, but I also were T-shirts, long shirts with peasant sleeves, (at least I think that's what they're called) and capris
On fun days I like to wear Knee length dresses or lacy shirts and skirts :)

3. What is something none of your followers know about you?
I LOVE frozen yogurt

4. What are some of your blogging goals?
To get back on track with my story writing, but mostly to get back to a steady rhythm of posting.

5. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Wet Seal, Target, Barnes & Noble, Antique Shops, ect..

6. What would your ideal amount of blog followers be?
50 but I'm just fine with my lovely 49
(but if I have 50 by my 3 year blogoversary on the 28'th oh!)

7. What are your talents?
Drawing, Writing, Smiling, Reading, (does that count as a talent?) Listening

8. Are you a leader or a follower?
Follower...and Leader, it depends on who I'm with, some people are better at taking the lead then me actually most...but my closest friends are very much interested in what I think and I can communicate with them in more connected and lengthy stream

9. What is one of your favorite quotes?
"Don't you think it's rather nice to think that we're in a book that God's writing? If I were writing a book , I might make mistakes. But God knows how to make the story end just right - in the way that's best for us."
                                                            The Railway Children, E. Nesbit
(I love this quote too Christina! Isn't that book just sooo adorable!)
10. Do you have a favorite book or book series?
To many to recount my dears much to many

11. Out of all of the synonyms for elegant, which would you describe yourself with (smart - stylish - dressy - graceful - dainty - fine)?
Graceful? Dressy? Those two are probably the closest but I hate to compliment myself

12. What is your favorite flower?
Oh my, hmm..... Dusty Pink rose would be my best guess, but dear doesn't pale flowers go so much better with bright ones say those darling natural greens

I'm pressed for the moment so pray forgive me for not tagging anyone but I hope I can make it up to you with a nice long post in the not so distant future alright, good.

Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile things have been busy over the past few weeks with painting the house, putting in flooring, ect...and I'm afraid I'll be away on vacation with my family this coming week and so I can't write then either (this year has proved exceedingly busy)  and since most of my friends aren't as cyber as I am I can't employ anybody to write while I'm gone especially since I can't give out my email address :/ but anyways I hope you'll hold on awhile while I sort out my life again after we return from vacation..

Now onto the more interesting things; let me try to explain some of the more exciting and fun parts of what's been going on around here in my crazy busy life :D

So about a month ago my sister Liz gave me all her nail polish and a few days ago I decided it was time to use it so I got on the internet and started looking for easy projects because, my friends, I am by no means a nail artist! I found some really fun things and great video's but the only one I've tried so far was the newspaper nails which was fun...AND MESSY...mainly because I'm not an expert at nails seeing as how I NEVER pain my nails except for clear top coat because I think it looks best but my interest has been piqued so my friends here is the results of my attempt at newspaper nails...

(pictures taken by me, with Liz's iPod)

If you want to do it too here's the tutorial I used
(Video below if you can't see it come over to my blog it should be visible)

Note: I didn't have the color they recommended so I just used white also another cute idea is to find your favorite words and just press those on your nails.

Yesterday was my amazing dad's birthday :D
Love you dad!
If you want to check out his blog click here---->
Our family really loves Pilgrims Progress if you want to know where his blog title came from read it's sequel Christiana.

So upcoming event's, I'm going shopping with my sister today, Tomorrows a formal, Saturday is packing day, and Sunday right after church is the day we leave :D soooo excited we haven't been on vacation for forever.

Highlight of the Week
Getting to talk to my dad and Mike (our churches Wednesday youth leader) about what I've been studying!

I guess that's all I have time for today, thanks so much for being patient with me.

I'm Back!

Of course I'd be back so quickly I said it'd be a short time didn't I? Me, Liz, and Ani had a great time and if I can get some time I'll grab a few pictures from the trip and tell you all about it.

Soooo updates...for the Author's Club
we have a new story that'll be coming soon and perhaps a new look I'm still trying to decide if it's the right time for that I guess I'll have to take it up with the other girls.

Will most definitely be getting  new look and I'll get on that as soon as I can also you can be sure to see a poem as requested by {Sarah Rudolph} with possibly artwork accompaniment.

Now onto a request...
You guys haven't gotten back to me so I'm going to ask again...which of my continuing stories do you want to see the next chapter too
Cathrine Weatherbane, Taste of Danger, what?
Let me know in comments it helps a lot...oh, yeah and I realize artwork's the lowest on the polls but it seems to be what I've been doing the most do you want to see more or should I just drop it for the time being...if more than would you like to see artwork along with my stories? Again let me know in comments your help would be really appreciated thanks :)
