Just Chilling

So it's the middle of the afternoon me and my sis Ani just finished with some side work and now, now it's time to blog! To be quite honest with you I've attempted several posts before this one but I've found myself having trouble deciding what to post about...what does one post about when one feels dried up?
I haven't been drawing much either....not to say I haven't been drawing, just nothing interesting enough to share, mostly I've been so busy and excited with just my every day life it gets hard to come on here ya know.

But hey I love you guys and I love writing so I thought...who cares if you have nothing to really say...because there's always something to say right! Just like there's aways something to do and always something to draw,
even if it's just chores to do...a half okay poem to write, or a little flowery card.
I have been contemplating writing about a few other things but I just haven't felt like they were good enough idea's yet...I'm still building on them so yep when they're ready....BOOM! Interesting posts galore!
You know what, I've actually noticed that a lot of people haven't been writing...and some that even have stopped altogether....I'm determined though! I've been blogging just two days shy of four years...no time to slow down now guys!
If I can get some old projects restarted and some new ones kicked into action,
it'll be just like old times.
Like Catherine Weatherbane...I really need to get going on the next chapter for that.
It's so funny; I'm at the point where everything is so full of potential  and exciting I should be more ready to write this than I am, guess when you're mind is so filled with other things it's hard to concentrate on that one thing that you started awhile ago, but I like Catherine and I also like a lot of other characters whose stories you guys have probably forgotten by now...but I haven't forgotten them, SO THEY SHOULD RETURN!!!

Got to go, interesting stuff later :j

Updates and Exciting News

Hello There :)
So it's been awhile since I've written anything and I'm not sure what to tell you to expect....however there is one thing....super excited to tell you!!!

Catherine Weatherbane is coming back!!!
That's right I'm coming out of writers block for that one...actually the chapter has been written for a month I've just been to busy to send it to my beta readers...AKA Dad and Liz.
I just need to know if they think it's alright and if they like it....*ding* it'll be posted.

Now explanation for why I haven't been writing.
It's the age old tale. Summer. Yeah, summer happened...do you know how crazy summer's are, they hit you like a rocket with things to do...and if you're like me it kinda makes your head spin.
And yeah I know technically even in the busiest times you always have some free time...but you have to ask yourself, "Is this how I want to spend that time?" usually that's a no...and don't deny that you get that way too.

Anyways back to Catherine Weatherbane...if there's anything you want to know about it, or think would be really cool to see in it, or even maybe want to have a little appearance in it let me know in comments :)

Oh, and one more thing I remember someone winning a contest a longish time ago and she was going to have an appearance as Ariella's younger sister (you know who you are) please contact me through comments so I know too and can finally do that, Thanks :)

My Cheery Cherry Tree

Oh, wow, I haven't posted in foreeeeeeeeeeever.
Can you believe that, I mean it's not that I didn't have things to talk about I had an over abundance actually, but I was never on the lappy (in case you didn't know lappy is my nickname for me and Ani's laptop). But hey I have a blog and when you have a blog you sort of have an obligation to post on it, so I'm going to try and be better at posting regularly alright...and commenting on other peoples blogs too...I can't tell you how many times I've had comments I wanted to leave but didn't get around to it, so yeah that too.

Anyways what's up over here...well currently I'm swatting an IRKSOME fly...but now it's gone...YAYA

My apologies, it was just so annoying...um, so yeah back to what's up.
Mostly we've been going to graduations parties but we've also been doing other things,
like me and Ani have been playing badminton, perfect weather where we live, awwww it's just lovely....and very very hot...any very very wet...yay for rain! Our lake has recently started falling and we were scared it would disappear entirely...it has once before and let me tell you it was not a pretty sight...sad time. A sad. Sad. Time. But if we get enough rain maybe we can keep it awhile longer. Oooooookay other than that....we had the day before Memorial Day and yes...Horses were rode :)

Ani and Babe                                                                                                                                    Molly

And than of course there was Memorial day and that was great too.

The lake: earlier and current :)

A little more recently I've been chatting with...THE FLY IS BACK....okay it's gone now, I've been chatting with my cousin Em...she's so awesomely awesome, you guys would love her. We're planning a get together sometime this year hopefully sometime this month or the next.

I've started a summer reading plan with the local library, which I highly look forward too!
I'm planning on going to see How to Your Dragon 2 maybe sometime...not next week since that would be like, the day it comes out..no the week after that I'm sooo excited I put the date on my calendar at the beginning of the year...I just hope it's not a let down, because I already plan on buying it

By the way, who else thinks the trailers gave waaaaaaay to much away?

Let's see what else....can't think of anything so I guess it's time to log out.

Yay Updates!

Nothing can be said now that hasn't been said or written or before and so I’ll try to change the way I approach this particular piece of typed singularity.

BUT let me just say….Hey, how you doing?

Translation: What can I say about not posting in a really long time that other bloggers haven’t already said so I guess I’ll just say something totally unrelated, How are you?

That’s right it’s me, I’m back and hopefully to stay for awhile.

So you guys remember how this Summer all throughout this very day I've been saying that the reason for my not writing has to do with the fact that I've either been busy or been uninspired because of not being able to leave the house very much because of house renovations and stuff. Well I'm happy to say that today we finally finished applying the primer and the first coat of paint to the house! Though we might apply the second coat to the front of the house this year...the rest of the painting should be left until sometime next Spring or Summer....so that means for now we can have a time of rest and somewhat normality :) I'm still happy about all of this upgrading and such I'm just not so ecstatic about all the time it's taken to complete these long do renovations it really felt like we were moving not just fixing up some things... so much more than just painting…um…so yeah we’re done and I can no longer bore you with updates on progress so I’ll just end work updates here and save you the annoyingness of having to deal with more of my rather uneventful Summer…don’t get me wrong we had a lot of great things happening and I’ll love this Summer forever I just well yeah you get the picture.

(the house after painting. It still has some green tape on it but doesn't it look nice)
(picture also by me)

To paint our home, we did endeavor
Though it did seem like forever
We kept hard at it until it was done
Till the completion was won
(poem requested by my dad)

So yesterday after we’d finished we went out to eat and celebrated our completion of the long “Never Ending Adventure” as I called it.
We were happy it was done but….then it started to rain and paint can’t dry when it’s raining we could only hope that the paint had, had enough time to dry before the rain came…and today we found out that we still had more days of endless rain coming...we were worried it would never have a chance to dry if it hadn't had enough time…but then while we were worrying I happened to notice I was a little hungry so I picked up a fortune cookie from the night before that was lying close by, I cracked it open and pulled out the little slip of paper it read, “The job is well done.” If ever there was a time we needed to hear that it was then…and wow I showed mom and she was just all smiles, thanking God for this strange way of letting us know it was okay we didn't have to worry, my stomach was in knots and was just thanking God over and over again sooo happy…cause you know how amazing it feels when you know God’s spoken two you I've only felt that a few times is my life and it’s so special! :D

Now to less amazing topics, you guys who follow The Artistic Writer know I’ve been drawing a lot recently in fact I’ve been doing a back to back series of Challenging with my friend Samantha…who might I add is Awesome!
And as a result I’ve been pumping more and more creativeness into my drawings…yes this distracts from my writings but I hope with time I’ll be able to refuel that little part of my life that’s still running on empty haha yes I’m writing despite a severe case of writers block, I feel like lately my life has been taking a different turn art is becoming more and more my favorite hobby and it’s very distracting though my character creations do help replenish idea’s for my already in progress stories…even so please bare with me I don’t usually have writers block this bad…please help if you can, maybe provide some idea’s or something how do you guys work with this I keep writing but yeah, it isn’t going so well.

Schools been fine but sleeping hasn’t, I stay up waaaaaay to late. I know I need to remedy that and I have been working on it but still if you guys could please pray I would appreciate it a lot, I’m really moody when I don’t get enough sleep and as a result I’m rude to my sisters and parents and I hate it, also it doesn’t help with school. I’m starting to worry about that….I really care about how much I pay attention and learn I want to take things in, I’m going to need to remember these things if I ever want to be a writer or even to just make it through day to day life so please pray for that too, pray that I am a diligent scholar and take in what I learn J right now I’m enjoying it but I want to be able to remember too.

Sooooo thanks for reading J

In Which I Randomly Ramble On

I can't say that this is going to be a very organized post...but then I don't always know what I'm going to post when I press the 'new post' icon sometimes I get stuck deciding what to write . If it was just art I could have endless posts but art isn't exactly what you guys like to see everyday on here right? And if...I were to convert The Author's Club into an art blog...would you guys follow?

Anyways back on topic, I....have one weight off my shoulders and that is the contest results for The make a postcard and Book cover contest I had...in the Summer, sorry for being so late on it! And you guys remember the header contest thingy I had going up earlier this year....I'm sorry I had to call that one off do to not to many entries and total extreme busyness, I feel pretty bad about the unreliable way I've been lately I feel pretty bad...The poetry contest....I think I'll have to drop that one off too, I haven't had a single entry for it and I've decided if I don't get at least one by Monday I'm going to pull it off...if you want to enter here's the link ---> http://poetic-meditations.blogspot.com/2013/08/3-year-blog-o-versary-mark-your-books.html

Now I know you guys love the "My Life Posts" and the reason I haven't been posting them as much is because my life has slowed considerably to a rather uninteresting pace that I didn't think it worth writing to you about but...I figure letting you guys know whats been going on down here will clear up a bit of why I haven't been posting so much.

So here it is...We've been so busy with painting, and all those other Home fixing good stuff that I haven't gotten out as much and we still have the whole upstairs to finish painting plus we have to paint the outside of the house (it's sorely in need of it!) and not getting out means not so inspired and while I have been on the computer quite often and made several attempts to post something I never feel like it's....well inspired, it felt dry and uncreative and I deleted at least 40% of the ones I started and another 50% was nothing at all so that leaves the 10% which was the stuff that actually made on my blog.
Hmm not quite interesting is it?
Well now you're probably wondering why I never said anything about my vacations...truth is once they were over...I was so mentally and physically exhausted that I never got around to putting the pictures on the computer or taking the time to post about it and by the time I was back to my usual, perky writing self it was long past the time we'd been gone and the vacation was no longer fresh in my mind.

The one you guys know most about took place in gorgeous South Dakota! I haven't been there in ages since it's such a long time to get there, we hiked up Mount Harney (Which I promptly dubbed Mt. Hernia before even hiking...because they said it would take three hours...I was both exited and unsure...of what to feel, I mean three hours is a lot of time to be hiking!) My first reaction upon arriving was sheer awe...the gorgeous tall tree's, the hills and mountains, the shimmering lakes! It was breath taking!

(Pictures by Ani)

She took a lot more later on (these are just the first day) but she never got them on the computer.
I believe when we were first driving up threw Custer Park I said, "It's so beautiful I could cry!" and I was just staring out in awe drinking it all in whilst my ears were popping from high altitudes.

Of course we had to see Mt Rushmore and all those other wonderful sites and we tried to do everything we could in the time we had it was fantastic...well except for towards the end of the trip I got sick...sour throat, headache, dizziness, cough, that sort of thing and mom was sick too but we didn't let it get us down...too bad... :) it was fun!

Soooo, we got home, we recovered we got back into routine and two weeks later... *BAM*Church Retreat! And wow was it the warmest and funnest one ever, I got to know some of the people from our church better and work my way ever so slightly a little more out of my shyness, I mean those girls I was with the whole time were so nice and easy to talk to, M was the sweetest and kindest, and Katie, well Katie's awesome! Bella continued to be a wonderful true friend and was there to talk to me when I was by myself, I must say I have some pretty great friends and I thank the Lord for them.

God has really been working in my life lately and thinking about him makes me so happy I could sing, he's constantly there and I feel him in my life, I am learning things I didn't know before, understanding in a way that is so different from before.

So there you go a very long post to make up for the lack of other posts :)

P.S. If you have any suggestions for drawings I'd appreciate it a lot...and if you;d like me to do a commission for you I'd be very happy,  also check out Abilaine's new Art Blog if you haven't already it's full of great drawings! ---> http://artsy-abilaine.blogspot.com/

Sorry

Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile things have been busy over the past few weeks with painting the house, putting in flooring, ect...and I'm afraid I'll be away on vacation with my family this coming week and so I can't write then either (this year has proved exceedingly busy)  and since most of my friends aren't as cyber as I am I can't employ anybody to write while I'm gone especially since I can't give out my email address :/ but anyways I hope you'll hold on awhile while I sort out my life again after we return from vacation..

Now onto the more interesting things; let me try to explain some of the more exciting and fun parts of what's been going on around here in my crazy busy life :D

So about a month ago my sister Liz gave me all her nail polish and a few days ago I decided it was time to use it so I got on the internet and started looking for easy projects because, my friends, I am by no means a nail artist! I found some really fun things and great video's but the only one I've tried so far was the newspaper nails which was fun...AND MESSY...mainly because I'm not an expert at nails seeing as how I NEVER pain my nails except for clear top coat because I think it looks best but my interest has been piqued so my friends here is the results of my attempt at newspaper nails...

(pictures taken by me, with Liz's iPod)

If you want to do it too here's the tutorial I used
(Video below if you can't see it come over to my blog it should be visible)

Note: I didn't have the color they recommended so I just used white also another cute idea is to find your favorite words and just press those on your nails.

Yesterday was my amazing dad's birthday :D
Love you dad!
If you want to check out his blog click here----> http://taste-that-which-is-good.blogspot.com/
Our family really loves Pilgrims Progress if you want to know where his blog title came from read it's sequel Christiana.

So upcoming event's, I'm going shopping with my sister today, Tomorrows a formal, Saturday is packing day, and Sunday right after church is the day we leave :D soooo excited we haven't been on vacation for forever.

Highlight of the Week
Getting to talk to my dad and Mike (our churches Wednesday youth leader) about what I've been studying!

I guess that's all I have time for today, thanks so much for being patient with me.

Something I've Been Thinking About

(Pic by Ani of course)

So yeah this post is about something that's been on my mind for a couple months now and I feel like God wants me to talk about it on here...the topic is Believing in Yourself it's a pretty popular idea right now all over schools and stuff a sort of feel good thing, but it really isn't just school's I've noticed it's gone beyond that and has somehow sneaked it's way into Christianity...How can this be I mean we have no power and the bible plainly states this, we should not believe in ourselves we should believe in God that he has a plan for us that will ultimately be better for both us and for his glory. You see we're naturally sinful it's a fallen world after all
*Romans 7:19 (KJV)
For the good that I would do I do not:
but the evil which I would not, that I do.*

*Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:
who can know it?*

and if we believed that we could accomplish  anything at all by ourselves well then....we'd fall back on our faces because without God we have no power we fail, we loose, we make decisions that we will later regret, we are not a reliable and we shouldn't think that just believing we can do something somehow makes it happen...US, ME, YOU, seriously we don't have any supernatural powers people we can't make things happen just by believing we can! I have more to say on the topic but I'll just leave it there for the moment...I'd like to see if my dad'll do something for me to post or link to on this topic as well, I'll ask :)
Anyways what do you think let me know in comments.

P.S. I'm currently reading Romans my sister's and I along with my dad studied it a couple years back and I'm finding myself drawn there of late...if you have read Romans care to talk with me about it :) maybe do a linkup sometime?

Once Upon a Time...An Artists Memoirs

I started drawing...

*This is the collected memoirs of an artist her thoughts on it and then some. I guess you could say this was brought on by the fact that I just went through yet another drawing notebook.*

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember back when I thought teardrop eyes looked nice with three lines sticking out of them for lashes, back when fingers were sticks and rings were just lines through those sticks...to the point where I thought large oval heads looked good...you get the picture since I was veeerrry little.
I wanted to be an artist long before I touched the keys of a keyboard in preparation for writing
I didn't need to write I told my stories through pictures (even though they weren't very good back then but you'll see later) I had great plans to one day be at least as good as my oldest sister Rachel (You didn't know I had a sister older than Liz did you?) or even mom (she's a brilliant artist!)

But I didn't know how long it would take for me to ever go beyond just what I thought was okay but no one else in their right minds would like...I wanted to know that my art would actually mature and grow that as I got older it would improve but I was moving so slow I felt like I'd never get better now I look back and laugh at my old drawings I'm not yet at an age were I can appreciate them but I do now recognize them as something more than something I should have thrown away ages ago (Thanks Liz for keeping me from tossing them) I see them as proof of my achievements I still haven't reached my skill goal yet but I can now honestly say I'm much better than I've ever been before maybe even almost mom good, I'm no longer relying on copying others I can make a decent picture with my own unique style...I...have...my....own....style *squeal!*

I'm no longer trying to be as good as someone else I'm content and yet...I'm not done yet there's still so much to learn I'll continue to study the art of others and to take from my lessons what I can. I thank God for blessing me with the patience to continue drawing even when I felt like I'd never get any better. Writing may now be my future career plan but art will always be very dear and precious to me and I hope that I can continue telling stories through them for as long as Live.

 My Gallery though time

By far not my oldest drawing but...we're having our floor redone and so the basements off-limits until finished and that's where my portfolio's are, thankfully I had some notebooks stored in my room that go back a ways, this was the Oval head years and believe me it was a lot bigger before like her head was huge and her body tiny!

This is a little later still not very good...sorry I don't know how old I was when I did these because I never date my drawings...*sigh* (colored by one of my sisters)

This was back in the days when we got into sewing and stuff...I was never very good at it so we quit pretty early on and anyways this was just me pretending I was a fashion designer designing a new line for "Simply Sarah's Fashion Boutique" I think I was like 8 or 9 maybe.

The tall years...I was trying to improve things and ended up coming up with tall people :) it's not to bad really it shows my progression...*giggle* see how I used to draw buns.

This is Guinevere my forest princess she was from my...um forest, fire, and ice series :)
You can see it's looks a lot like my current style.

And here's today!

This has been a moment with Gallery Through Time.

Let's send off this Sketchbook with style, Ado

It's been a good eight months :D

One final thing before I say my last goodbyes :)
Here's an unfinished watercolor drawing by my gifted mother...

In Which I Talk About My Writing Progress

Goodness Gracious has it happened again? I can't seem to quite remember what I was going to post about all I know is it was something about being on time and getting back to people... I got it!... I'll talk about my story writing progress!

I feel guilty I said I'd have Cathrine Weatherbane out soon and I even had lots of the new chapter written down but what to my surprise and dismay that the chapter didn't satisfy me and if it doesn't satisfy me than I know it won't satisfy others. You must understand that I like to feel what my chracters are feeling (I mean like as I write it. I want to get what's going on, on a more personal level) and if I don't well than I can tell my chapter is lacking I read it and reread it but still no dice it just didn't sit right with me and so goes the rewriting of chapter 19 does it always get so hard this close to the end...spoiler spoiler...yeah Cathrine Weatherbane is almost done I figure I'll try to make it to thirty chapters if I have to but my goal is 25 but we'll see.

For Tales of a Wandering Forest Princess I'd say you may have to wait a little longer because my co-author is in the works of her chapter and than I have to write a follow up, but be assured it will be as speedy as is possible!

The Traveling Red Umbrella Girl was not a one time thing and whenever I want I can get going on that one of course if you guys want to be sure of a speedy arrival of that one you'll just have to tell me because I'm afraid on my own I probably won't get that done as soon as I might.

Hmmm, pretty much the same rules that go for Tales of a Wandering Forest Princess apply to Silver Sunsets (Oh, you know Janna, Porsha, ect...)

As for the others....well we'll see what happens I'm trying to cut down so you can be sure soon you'll be seeing a poll for what you want me to keep and the stories with the least votes will get tossed aside!
At least for now...they may be reused later.

Thanks so much for reading.

*Half Smiles*

I am at a loss at this moment I was just sitting here with the computer on my lap thinking, "Okay, so I read all the unread posts in Google Reader I don't have any new emails and my music is still playing...I KNOW I'LL WRITE A BLOG POST!" that just about sums me up since the internet started working again I mean before when it didn't it seemed like I had a million things to do and no time to do them in and now it's my duty to catch up with my blogging again so why doesn't this apply first? Hmm old habits die hard I guess.

Those thoughts were followed up with, "So I'm on blogger what do I write...I KNOW I'LL WRITE ABOUT NOT KNOWING WHAT TO WRITE AND THEN DO POEMS AND UPDATES!"
Don't you guys love how resourceful I am. Okay enough jokes now here's the poem.

Nothing seems to come to mind
So this is what I've got
A poem on confusion
And whatever else plus whatnot?

Isn't it funny how I've made a poem when I can't think
Isn't it funny how that works
I assure you though it's not always like that
It's just sometimes I have those quirks.

Ever have a hard time trying to find a rhyme
For that thing you just wrote
I experience that pretty much always
So I have those thoughts to tote.

That's the poem now the updates...

1. Thanks to a little push from a friend a sister and a little brainstorming there should be a new chapter to Cathrine Weatherbane and even perhaps one for The Traveling Red Umbrella Girl...and I'll get on the others as well if you tell me which ones you're anxious to see more of also I'm thinking on discontinuing a few of the others since I have so many stories that need my attention and yes even I can't take on ten stories at once.

2. I may possibly have a Character Quiz soon but to do that I need to know which book you guys would like to see a quiz for. Let me know in comments.

3. Would you guys like me to illustrate any of my books I could always try.

4. Any questions, reminders or other please let me know in comments.

Thanks for your ever faithful patience.

Hold on a second?

Day: May 13'th 2013
Time: 10:35

How long has it been exactly? Since I made a my life post? A long time I suppose over three months I guess...hahaha I'm not entirely to blame for that, bad internet for a few months and just yesterday we had the guys come down to look at it...ooh sweet internet I'm so glad you're back!

Yep so on Tuesday we went up to where my cousin Mandy lives (who by the way is awesome!)  and spent the day shopping at Antique stores with her afterwards we brought her down to our house where she still is just so you know, that was Tuesday, on Wednesday we went shopping at some of our local stores (Goodwill and Wal-mart) and got some really cute stuff followed up by returning home for treats, laughs, and a late night movie (at home) that was Wednesday, on Thursday (today) We has an extra special treat after spending part of the afternoon at another local store (where we once again got more cute stuff..ack this sounds like bragging or something.) We went down to our grandparents for...HORSE BACK RIDING!!!! It was major fun and we stayed for hours and the horses were finally content enough to go at faster paces (Trot, gallop, I can't remember what it's called) which made me smile so much I thought my face would crack (I love those horses!) Anyways that was today, Tomorrow we're going to babysit for two toddler twin girls (they're so cute!) which I'm also looking forward to and than much later in the afternoon we're either having friends over or going to my terribly awesome brothers house!

Side Notes: Yesterday I had a haircut, I started a Summer reading plan, and Today we had a photo shoot...pictures to follow in a future post.

All for now :D

Hmmm what to say....

How about this for the greater part of yesterday I was trying to get this video to come up on my blog but I've given up on it for now until the Internets improved...yeah *smirk* you're going to have to wait awhile.
Anyways lets make this a da da dummmmmmmmmm
A My Life Post!
(yeah I was going to put a picture there but the internet's that bad)

Okay so instead of telling you all the boring stuff I did I'll just tell you the exciting stuff that happened and a few eagerly waited for coming events down my way. Let's see um, I made more plans for the redecoration of my room, my mom shortened my way to long curtains and we had some fun shopping time also we got to do a really awesome Thursday Movie Morning yesterday (it's where us girls and dad wake up at six and watch like an Answers in Genesis, How they made the New Testament, or other cool movie only on Thursday mornings
Oh, yeah and we got to go visit my brother Josh and his lovely wife Kristen at there house for my mom's birthday it  was definitely a great time! I recently got into colorful watercolor painting (which you probably know by now) and I've been doodling a lot honestly mom's sure I'm going to grow up to be a writer who illustrates her own works. Anyways upcoming stuff...well tonight's Good Friday service and this Saturday's another Bible Study with Dad, Sunday's Easter, and upcoming Friday not this one next one we have a chocked day planned consisting on going to a play put on by some close friends (I love Drama maybe I can do it sometime) and then later in the day we're going to a Bible Study put on by some other friends all in all I think we've got great things coming!

In Which I Talk About a Lot of Random Stuff

Hello once again, I thought I'd post another one of these since you guys seem to like them so much :)

Thursday I (did) go shopping and it was great I'll have some pictures included on here of my cute shirt later.
also I've some news of today, future posts, and some shared gratitude :D

Yesterday I went to a really great bible study and made a new friend we sang songs laughed and chatted; it was a lot of fun and they had great food. Coming home I realized just how much God has blessed me and I feel immense gratitude to him for it all it all hit me like a storm and I'm blissfully cheerful right now listening to one of my favorite music artists in what seems like a totally different bedroom and I'm so happy, Also I love how you guys continue to read my posts, comment on them, and vote on the polls your guys are totally the best!

Today we had an awesome father daughter's bible study time! Me Liz and Mom went to a really fun baby shower and made a quick stop at Wal-Mart to pick up a few things we couldn't get Thursday and now I'm back. All in all it was a great day!

News on the future posts, I bet you guys were curious about this. Well for awhile now I've been planning on modeling out a few of my favorite outfits and posting them on here so you guys could vote on which ones were your favorite that way I could have a plan out of clothes for future Sundays and what I like to call Mall Clothes (Casual clothes but of a kind of material you don't want to wash so much so you only wear them when you plan on going out) Also I'd like you guys to leave fashion advise on those posts so I can have idea's on accessories or just what you guys think is really cute. Now I'm not to big on these it's just nice to know the opinions and tips from your friends...Girl talk ya know.

One more thing before the pictures...I'm going to be posting some pics of my amazing pink and library themed room (we're experimenting for the room redecoration come Summer) So that's all enjoy the pictures and I'll see ya later!

My Glowing Room (Only when the curtains are drawn and only in the daytime)
My nightstand equipped with iPod and and lamp.
The top shelf of my growing library (Top Shelf = Favorites and minus a few I've pulled out or didn't have room for)
Where everything happens. (Minus my cute rolling desk chair you can't see)

What's been goin' on?

Yep this is the official cover of my random life posts, because I keep wanting to say like "Back to Reality" or "Get ready to be bombarded with my Life!" hahaha so anyways, what's been going on lately...hmmm well Internets been slow so I haven't been able to post today was the first time it actually showed promise
(we suspect it was the weather) arrg anyways last Friday night and Saturday morning (of last week) we went to a Creation Conference (Destination Denied) it was so much fun and we got to hear a lot of different fact we had like four different sessions including a designated questions and answers sequence every thing was so need and organized they even had a timer so you'd know when they were starting again :D it was a great weekend.

On Sunday we were snowed in (kinda) and Liz made really great pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies, on Monday Liz made chocolate snickerdoodle cookies and we said farewell to our dear grandparents dog who came to pick her up after a long vacation, on Tuesday Liz made Pumpkin Custard, Wednesday well on Tuesday we didn't do hardly anything except I read a lot and dreamed about today...Oh, and also I got my Senvenly T-shirt!!!
